Sincerely, Sydney

Something I really love to do is write letters.  I love that I get to pick out stationary, and a pen, and stamps and stickers all with a special person in mind.  The act of putting a pen to paper and sending someone a message to let them know you're thinking about them is so special.  I mean who doesn't like getting mail that isn't bills? #amiright

One of the most common kinds of letters I send, both personally and professionally, are Thank You notes.  Thank You notes are such a simple thing to do, but show that you took the time to appreciate someone else, which I think is very important.

Today I am writing a Thank You note to my friend Rachel.  She is one of my oldest frineds and we exchange letters regularly.  I can't wait for her to get this. She is going to totally flip out over the wax seal! *Sorry Rach, this is NOT your acceptance letter to Hogwarts*

If you are as in love with these cards as I am, check out the Gramr Gratitude movement at the link here.   I donated to their kickstarter this winter, and I am so glad that I did.  Their simple, movement has inspired me to be more grateful, and motivated me to be an even more dedicated correspondent. Not to mention their cards are GORGEOUS.

If you are excited about the idea of letter writing and are looking for a new pen pal, drop me a comment with your contact info and I will add you to my correspondence list! -xo Sydney

PS.  This is not a sponsored post, I am just obsessed with Gramr and I think everyone else should be too. :)

  1. I am the oldest friend Syd is referring to above. I would like to officially say that yes, I DID freak out, and I was slightly disappointed that my thank you card was not delivered by carrier owl. Thanks anyway! This blog is so great!!
